About the client
Fair Wear is a multi-stakeholder initiative that advances workers’ rights across global supply chains. It helps brands make human rights and environmental due diligence part of everyday business practice. Its website is a key channel for reaching a wide range of stakeholders, from member brands and factories to trade unions, civil society and policymakers.
The challenge
Fair Wear had updated its brand positioning and identity, and the website needed to catch up. The old site was text-heavy and carried layers of legacy structure, which made it hard to navigate and hard to manage. The new site had to reflect the brand, serve the organisation’s strategy, and give each audience a clear, simple route to what they need. It also had to fit Fair Wear’s internal processes, connect with its existing systems, and stay flexible as the organisation grows.
What we did
idea(13) coordinated the project from start to finish. Starting with an audit of the existing site, we worked with the Fair Wear team to scope their needs, define the technical requirements and build a new site structure. We coordinated design and development with Elkanodata Information Design Agency and developed the content together with Fair Wear’s team. Once the site launched, it was handed over so client's team could manage it themselves.

The result
