STITCH (Sustainable Textile Initiative — Together for Change) was a five-year consortium (2021–2025), funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working towards systemic change in the global garment industry by centring workers’ voices and embedding human rights in business practice.
Bringing together six labour rights, trade union, and multistakeholder organisations, STITCH developed OECD-aligned human rights due diligence (HRDD) guidelines and practical tools with brands, suppliers, governments, and civil society.
To capture the key learnings, tools, and insights from the programme, a booklet reflecting STITCH’s impact was published, along with the resource bank featuring practical guidance.
